DIFFERENT TYPES OF PEELS

All peels contain AHA which are more commonly known as chemical peels.
Your skin care practitioner will  first of all analyse your skin to determine which strength peel will be consequently most effective and suitable for your skin. They are all highly effective, with limited downtime.

Low level PH Peels
Glow Peel -Contains 7% Resorcinol 7% Lactic and 7% Salicylic.
Radiant 20 10 – Contains 20% Lactic and 10% Salicylic.
Radiant 30 -Contains 30% Lactic.

PH Level 1 Peels
Boost – 30% Citric 30% Mandelic
Glycolic – 20%
Glycolic – 35%

Most of all our peels are simple procedures with generally little or no downtime. However initially your skin may be red and sensitive. Some patients can experience itching, discomfort, burning and as a result crusting and peeling of the superficial layer of skin.
These are all normal reactions and expected for good results.
To achieve desired results, visible flaking or peeling is not always a sign to show treatment effectiveness.

CONTRA INDICATIONS AND AFTERCARE

Main contra indications of the treatment are :

Pre-peel:
5 to 7 days before avoid :

  • Laser hair removal
  • Waxing
  • Electrolysis
  • Sun exposure

3 days before avoid :

  • Topical retinoids
  • Tretonoin
  • Exfoliants
